Liverpool are in for a very busy summer and the biggest transfer window is yet to come.

The first transfer window is officially shut and it is safe to say that Liverpool have made some serious moves to try and get ahead of the game.

Although Jeremie Frimpong is the only official arrival so far, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez don’t look too far behind, signings that could take Liverpool to the next level.

Shifting out some of the ‘dead wood’ will likely happen in the weeks to come, with Darwin Nunez one of the names most likely to depart as he has interest from Saudi Arabian teams.

However, despite a very uneventful three seasons at the club that has left many people frustrated, Nunez himself being one of them, holding onto him for one more season could prove beneficial.

Nunez hasn’t been short of chances during his Liverpool career, but next season he would be set to get a whole load more – and good quality ones at that.

If Liverpool get Wirtz and Kerkez through the door, alongside Mohamed Salah and Frimpong they would have four of the most creative players in the league.

This is not even factoring in the likes of Dominic Szobozslai, Cody Gakpo or Luis Diaz, proving just how frightening Liverpool can be next season.

The chances that the forward line might get could be off the charts, with Nunez having one of the best chances he’ll ever get to prove himself finally in the Premier League.

Liverpool’s creative players cover all areas too and can provide inch-perfect passes along the floor or pinpoint deliveries onto the Uruguayan’s head, showing the endless possibilities.

He may have had loads of chances in the past, but one last dance might end up being the start of a very successful Liverpool career.

In January, the Reds rejected a bid of around €70m (£59.2m) from Al-Nassr after not having enough time to source a replacement, a decision that fans were left baffled over.

However, Liverpool still want a similar figure this summer and could very well get it due to Saudi’s war chest of unlimited funds.

Although there is a strong case for Nunez to stay due to the creative output next season, it is understandable if they decide to sell if they get the right price, especially as it would help balance the books after spending £126m on Wirtz.

However, this could be a transfer saga that drags on for a long period of time, but if the 25-year-old does stay, be optimistic as there is still a very good chance he could shine.
